A very hateful woman yelled out in the parking lot shortly after we were parked and told my mom it was for fox parking only. I had already gotten out of the car and was checking to see if a rock my cousin had painted was still in front of the store. My mom was just getting out of the car to head inside when she was rudely confronted about not parking there. I went inside to ask if she wanted our business. She then said yes but it was too late. I told her we would be going somewhere else. What your employee did was absolutely unacceptable. We obviously won't be back and won't hesitate to tell anyone how rude we were treated.

Pretty sure I just got gouged for my meds, paid 126$ for meds that should have cost no more than 30. Gonna file complaint with bbb, that's ridiculous!!!

You never know who you're going to run into at Fox's! One day it's a school bus driver, the next its Mayor Mike McDonough. It's one of the Raytown communities greatest landmarks.

Food is great! Old fashion milk shakes are delicious. Soda Fountain area IS OPEN. Pharmacy area is what's been closed. Hours are Monday-Saturday 11am-4pm (Winter hours).

Such a fun place to go. The food is all great, but most importantly it's a soda fountain with a fun host who loves her role in preserving history. Go for the experience, and relish the nostalgia.

Like walking into a time machine and going back 40 years! A soda fountain that still has the same feel good that they used to! Best malts around! Great food and atmosphere!

I fell in love with the grilled egg salad sandwich with bacon and cheese! The root beer float was pretty awesome, too. Nancy is amazing. I got to take my best friend there so we could grab some lunch, and ended up barely able to drag ourselves away!

This is a 50's soda fountain. In addition to a broad variety of drinks that were typical of the 50's, they also serve an excellent variety of period foods. Try their bowl of chili for a nice meal!

I moved from North Carolina so I wasn't familiar with Fox. Went there the other day and the woman helping my dad and I was very helpful. It is truly a small town pharmacy with a small town feel.

Dropped in to Fox's drug store for a quick lunch. Frito chilli pie was awesome! They haven't changed, they still make soda fountain drinks like they did in the 50's!

A true old fashioned soda fountain and lunch counter. Great favorites prepared from the original recipes including soups chili hot dogs and much more. The sodas shakes and malts are excellent and they make the best chocolate malt in the city.

Nice place to sit, talk, and enjoy a soda or ice cream treat. Menu had far fewer items than back in my childhood, but the experience still brought back find memories.
Jess Forster
Very nice lady working the counter. But the food was not so good. The chili was just meat and beans no "juice" whatsoever and the potato soup was bland. The grilled cheese was good. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry for lunch

Awesome limeades, shakes, and malts! Soups and sandwiches, chili dogs, Frito pie...and a super friendly lady who runs it. Just be aware that it takes awhile, so don't go if you're in a hurry.

Great experience every time we're in there. Chow , atmosphere , chef all top notch .Hard to find a better chilidog in metro area , shakes and malts firm and full , like a good woman .
Rebecca Barnes
This is one of my favorites in the entire metro. Nancy is friendly and fun. The atmosphere is delightful. The food...though not fancy...is made from scratch and is delicious. Nancy can whip up a shake or malt, a phosphate or as float so delicious, coming back will become a priority. This is on the list of 50-must-do's-when-in-kcmo. My entire family loves Fox's Drugs! A piece of the past is still with us. Γ°ΕΈββ’

Great ice cream soda, excellent navy bean soup, and the best cornbread I've ever had. Great service, and very clean. I'll be back.

I love these guys. They are very friendly and remember people by name. Any time I can get my prescriptions filled there I do.

Seems to have once been a pinnacle establishment in Raytown. I haven't had the opportunity to spend much time inside.Unfortunately it looks like they no longer fill prescriptions, referring customers to HyVee. I was excited at the opportunity to support a local small scale pharmacy, and was disappointed when I found out I couldn't. I'd guesstimate that this is due to the economy and the competition that large chains provide and not due to the business itself.

Delicious Frito chili pie made with excellent chili. Tasty and creative ice cream sodas and shakes. Super friendly staff. Come for the food and enjoy the 60s ambience!
Yvette Cohn
This is such a quaint establishment. Fox's has such a fun old-school Diner feel. The wait for my food was long but well worth it. The soups are delicious, chili is fantastic, and the shakes were probably the best I've ever had.
